Research Librarian - Cincinnati, Ohio

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, a law firm with over 650 attorneys in 23 cities nationwide, currently has an excellent opportunity for a
Research Librarian with at least 2-5 years of experience including reference, training, and other general library support
responsibilities. This is a full time opportunity in our Cincinnati, Ohio office.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to meet time sensitive research deadlines using multiple legal online products when manning our virtual reference desk.
  • Analyze firm’s information needs to improve services and processes.
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and implements new vendor product offerings.
  • Promotes and publicizes library resources, services, and new products through the library web page, email notifications and in-
    person visits.
  • Through various methods evaluate end-user reactions to products, programs, and training.  

Qualifications:

  • MLS from an ALA accredited institution with 2-5 years reference experience.
  • Requires excellent organizational skills.  Requires excellent writing skills, verbal communications and ability to present new
    material to large groups.  
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Expert user of Word, Excel, Outlook and Outlook calendar.
