Now in its 38th year, ALA serves more than 10,000 professionals in managing their law firms, legal

In order to be eligible for ALA membership, you must be a "full-time legal administrator or support
manager employed in a private law firm, legal service clinic, corporate legal department, university legal
department, governmental legal agency, court system, charitable legal agency or some other
organization engaged primarily in the practice of law." Or, practicing lawyers with principal management
responsibility in their legal organization.
